Who we are
The Medical Council of Belize is the statutory body responsible for registering medical practitioners, dentists, and opticians in Belize. It ensures that healthcare professionals meet the necessary qualifications and ethical standards to practice in the country. The council also investigates allegations of professional misconduct and conducts disciplinary proceedings when necessary

HOW TO REGISTER
All Medical Practitioners, Dentists and Optitcians should be registered with the Council in order to Legally practice medicine in Belize. To obtain full registration, applicants must submit:
| Curriculum Vitae
| Authenticated original degree, diploma, or certificate
| Letter of Good Standing from the last country of practice
| Current license to practice
| Proof of Belizean citizenship (if applicable)
| Police record from place of residence
| TOEFL certification (if English is not the first language)
