Who we are
The Medical Council of Belize is a Body Corporate responsible for registering medical practitioners in Belize. It ensures that medical practitioners meet the necessary qualifications and ethical standards to practice in the country of Belize. The council also investigates allegations of professional misconduct and conducts disciplinary proceedings when necessary.

Registration guidance
HOW TO REGISTER
All Medical Practitioners, including Dentists should be registered with the Council in order to Legally practice medicine in Belize.
To obtain full registration, applicants must submit:
- Curriculum Vitae
- Authenticated original degree, diploma, or certificate
- Letter of Good Standing from the last country of practice
- Current license to practice
- Proof of Belizean citizenship (if applicable)
- Police record from place of residence
- TOEFL, OET or IELTS certification (if English is not the first language)
